Hiring Movers in San Diego —Worth Every Penny

Manpower Movers made my first big move bearable, especially when I realized that hiring San Diego Movers would actually be more cost effective. No matter how close or far away, can be a stressful ordeal. Not only do you need to deal with the emotional aspect of a move, the physical portion is taxing too. I remember when I was moving out from my college apartment into my new “young adult” apartment a year ago. It was the end of an era for me. I was leaving the comfort of a college campus and breaking out into my own career. But the good news was that I wasn’t moving too far away. I went to school in San Diego and I also got my first job in San Diego.

But even though I was only moving a few miles away, I was stressed about my move. See, my parents live in Northern California, so it was going to be hard for them to make a trip down to San Diego simply to help me move. Even though my mother would like any excuse to come to San Diego, she’s a teacher and was jus starting school so she couldn’t leave.  It was just going to be me and four years’ worth of my possessions.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, and I was beginning to get overwhelmed just thinking about all the things I needed to do to prepare for my big move. And since I was the last of most of my friends to move out and get a job, there weren’t many people left to help me. I was running out of ideas when I realized that I could hire a moving company.

Because of my poor college student budget, I had never considered hiring a mover because I thought it was completely out of my price range. Plus, for the most part, I was moving down the street with a few friends, so we would all just move our stuff together. But this time I had a lot more to move and I was working with a bigger budget.

So I hired a company called Manpower Movers and had them take care of my move. Let me tell you: hiring a mover might have been the best decision I’ve ever made! All of my things were brought over in one trip and I didn’t have to go back and forth fifty times like I imagines. Especially with gas prices as they are, I imagine it would have cost me nearly the same as it did to hire Manpower to do it.

Another great benefit to hiring Manpower was that they placed all of my furniture where it needed to go—I didn’t have to bother with moving couches and large pieces all my myself. It was wonderful. Pretty much, whenever I move next, I don’t think I can move any other way but with hired help. It was worth every penny.
