All solid waste sinks to the bottom and collects is what we call grease. Chemical reactions and breakdowns takes place and several of the sewer gas smells that come from the traps are hydrogen sulfide. As well, grease smears accumulate inside the grease trap and extremely cause unpleasant odors that if inhaled can cause respiratory sickness. Eventually, this is important to consider having the grease trap cleaned frequently. The unpleasant odors like these that may prevent patrons from coming back to your restaurant and cause negative feedback about environment at establishment.
