American Traditional Food Restaurant In Westchester Ny

Emma’s is one of my faves of the beaten path of mainstream White Plains Westchester NY. Food and service are usually good and the beer selection is major. A good spot to grab dinner and lunch with a drink with friends after work. I’d say Emma’s is one of the best Restaurants Westchester NY.

Emma’s was suggested to us by a pal. Off the well trodden route of a twenty-something in White Plains but a delightful surprise! The nosh was excellent. It was tough to pick what to eat as there were so many smashing selections on the menu.

I ended up ordering the macaroni and cheese appetiser as my meal, my partner got a selection of sliders and another mate we were eating with got a steak sandwich. We all shared and each was amazing! The macaroni and cheese is to die for! Creamy, magical and extraordinary it has bits of ham / bacon and peas in it. For an appetiser it’s a LARGE portion, definitely enough to make a meal out of. The fellows were fighting for the last bites of it.

The beer list is big and the drinks are heavy handed. Prices appear a little high, but you are not just getting pub grub. Its comfort food, but it’s been turned up a gear or 2. The pretzel bread you get for the table is also savory and a pleasant way to set the tone for the meal.

While our waitress was not exactly the brightest bulb in the box there were no Problems with our order nor did we must wait long to get anything. The weather was awful outside, but Emma’s was still crowded. To me that is the mark of a cool place.

I see how some reviewers say it could get crowded, nevertheless it looked well managed and not chaotic. It’s the kind of place that might be good for an easygoing first date, friends getting together, a low key business dinner, birthday. Pretty much any reason is a really good one to visit.
The nosh was incredible and I can’t wait to go back. A+, a new favourite. Many thanks, Emma’s.

This place is one of my top spots for hanging with the fellows, or taking my girl out to brunch. The bar area has some TV’s good for the sports games, and the beer menu is AWESOME! Always great lager on tap, and the Fish and Chips is akin to the ones I loved in London.

If you are searching for Restaurants in Westchester NY then this is a great place to visit.
