Since it seems like we are all on a budget these days, and with all of the choices for dining out, it’s best to know what you’re in for before you sit down and realize this is not what you wanted to pay.  I’ll break it down into two categories: Order at the counter and order at your table.

Order at the counter:

Schnitz Deli, : Breakfast and Deli,  – per meal.  This is a great little deli with yummy sandwiches and breakfast. Take some out-of-towners here for something different and local, and they will not be disappointed. Main Location on Fulton by Downtown Grand Rapids. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Maggie’s Kitchen: Mexican, – per meal.  Arguable the best Mexican in town.  Located on Bridge Street, this neighborhood favorite will make your taste buds happy. (Lunch and Dinner)

Blake’s Turkey Sandwich Shoppe: Sandwiches and Soups, – per meal.  The soup is great as well as the sandwiches.  Great Downtown location.  (Lunch)

Chain ~ Qdoba Mexican Grill:  Mexican, – per meal.  Qdoba has a Rewards Club membership card that gives you 100 points per meal.  When you accumumlate 1000 points, you get a free meal, so every 10th meal is free!  Not too bad for something free. (Lunch and Dinner)

Chain ~ Panera Bread: American, – per meal.  This is a relatively healthy choice when you want one.  Of course there are menu items that are unhealthy, but there are plenty of salads and soups to choose from that are great for you.  Also, there is a smoothie and coffee bar so you can get something great to drink as well. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Order at your table:

Wolfgangs: American, – per meal.  This place has excellent everything, plus a fun atmosphere and menu.  Try the Dewey Breakfast Burrito it will have you thinking about it for days.  Located in Easttown. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Brick Road Pizza:  Pizza and Italian, – per meal.  Brick Road Pizza has a buffet for .99 on Tuesdays from 5:30pm – 8:00. This buffet is to die for, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian.  They make vegan chicken fingers with BBQ and Buffalo sauce and they are retarted.  I am not a veggie, but my husband is, so you can imagine what a treat it is for him to have this available.  One of my favorite indulgences is Buffalo Chicken, and this tastes EXACTLY like the chicken know and I love. Located in Easttown (Lunch and Dinner)

Chain ~ Uccello’s: Pizza and Italian, – per meal.  If you like Italian and sports, this is it.   There are large screen TVs in every location. There are coupons in just about every coupon magazine or phone book for Uccello’s, so if you are going, take a look first at your local coupons.  At the Lake Michigan Drive location, there is prime rib every Friday on the lunch buffet for .95!  GREAT DEAL! (Lunch and Dinner)

Marie Catrib’s: Vegetarian and Deli, – per meal.  This place is not to be missed.  Great atmosphere, great food, great healthy choices, fresh squeezed juices, coffee choices, and desserts.  A+ Located on Lake Drive. (Lunch and Dinner)

Salvatore’s: Italian, – per meal.  Mom and Pops Italian that has wonderful red sauce and a lunch buffet that has pizza, meatballs (my favorite), salad, soup, vegetables, bread, and more.  Located by Bridge Street and Stocking (Lunch and Dinner)
